Fontenay Chamber Players

November 20, 2022 at 4 pm

in our Great Hall

The Fontenay Chamber Players, seven members from the tristate region, formed in 2003. Their performances have been described as a “radiant meshing of color” in a “brilliant tour de force.” The show starts at 4:00. Tickets are $20, at the door.

The group’s name is an indication of its inspiration, a reference to a French town connected to Maurice Ravel, the legendary composer whose luminous Introduction and Allegro was originally conceived as a miniature harp concerto, later arranged for piano and orchestra, but in its most popular form performed by seven instruments.

Advent Quiet Day

December 3, 2022 at 9:30 am - 12 Noon

Church and can drop in anytime

Join Katy Piazza and Ann Weber for a quiet day during Advent.  The day will begin in the church with a quiet worship service and move to the hall where stations will be set up for different sorts of meditation: reading, artwork and chances to pray or talk with either priest. Katy and Ann will supply the adult coloring pages, water color supplies, and a variety of reading materials.  We will also lead worship throughout the day.  You are more than welcome to come and go as you please.
